Here’s what Vale Motors customer and Isuzu D-Max owner, Mr Lurc thought of his recent test drive in the most capable Isuzu pick-up ever, 25 years in the making – the Arctic Truck AT35.
I had some great fun test driving the demo Arctic AT35 last week from Vale Motors. I have always been sceptical on the size of the AT35 but it was absolutely superb. Yes, if you live in a city centre parking could be interesting, but otherwise it’s a stunning machine!
The suspension wasn’t what I expected at all, I thought it would be a boat-like machine, but it handled superbly! The AT35 I had the pleasure of driving also had the power upgrade, which was really nice, irons out the gear changes and pulls, pulls, and pulls some more!
Getting back into my D-Max DL40 after the AT35 felt like jumping into a mini in comparison. The AT35 is an absolute road dominator! Nice light bar, some wind deflectors and a rear bar is all this truck needs, nothing tacky required!
It demands respect straight out of the showroom, why anyone would buy a Ford Raptor I don’t know, this Isuzu D-Max Arctic AT35 really is THE machine!
